Ravenglass is at the mouth of the rivers Esk, Irt and Mite. With easy access to the fells of both Eskdale and Wasdale, and the lovely West Cumbrian coast. The village of Ravenglass is small with a couple of shops, and pubs, but was during roman times the second largest port in the country. So there is plenty of history to delve into and some great places to stay for holidays or business with good travel links including a main line rail station and the La'al Ratty railway up into Eskdale.
